GPS Tracking

GSM tracking

Track your vehicles over the mobile network.

The tracker gets its position by GPS and sends it over GSM to the platform. You see it straight away, wherever you are.

GPS tracking over the mobile network, made simple

A GSM tracker combines two technologies: GPS to know its position, and the mobile network to send it. All you need is a device, a SIM card with data and an account on the platform.

The mobile network carries the position

The mobile network carries the position

The device sends its positions to the platform over your operator's network. As soon as they arrive, they are shown on the map.

  • One SIM card with data per device
  • Online or offline status visible
  • Alert when a device stops responding

The phone as a first tracker

To start without hardware, a phone can send its position. It is handy for a trial or for field teams who have given their consent.

  • No device to install
  • Tracking as long as the app stays open
  • Less suited to permanent tracking than a device

Wired into the vehicle, the device works without any action from the driver. Depending on the model, it also reports ignition, alarms or CAN data, and can control a relay.

  • Works without action from the driver
  • Teltonika, Concox, Coban and H02-compatible brands
  • Other brands through a gateway

Frequently asked questions

Which SIM card do I need?

A SIM card with a sufficient data plan, from an operator with good coverage on your routes.

What happens without network?

The position cannot be sent at that moment. Some devices store it and send it again when the network returns: it depends on the model.

Is GSM enough without GPS?

No. GPS provides the position and the mobile network transmits it: the device needs both.

Good to knowEach tracker needs a SIM card with data. Your model’s compatibility is checked before going live.
